FAIR WEATHER WALKS aims to provide relaxed and sociable midweek rambles, with the emphasis firmly on fun.  Our carefully researched walks take you off the beaten track and along the byeways of the beautiful Staffordshire / Derbyshire countryside, mainly in the 'White Peak' Area.  Our main season is from March to October, but Winter Warmer Breaks can be arranged - Just ask! Walkers on the Way to The Swan

TECHNICAL ABILITY the 'White Peak' is noted for its softer rolling landscape, consequently our walks are classed as easy / medium.   Usually 6 - 9 miles on defined footpaths through woodland, beside rivers and lakes and farming hills and valleys.  The gradients are fairly easy but be prepared for some rough or stony ground in patches.

WHAT'S INCLUDED the cost of your holiday includes: 


Comfortable walking shoes or boots, a lightweight waterproof jacket - preferably in a breathable material such as gortex, lighweight walking trousers and a lightweight fleece or pullover.  If you need any more advice please do not hesitate to ring.


Day 1  Arrive 4.00pm time to settle into your accommodation and check out our facilities.  6.00pm local stroll to nearby hostelry then back to Granary Court for your evening meal and a relaxing evening

Day 2  After a hearty breakfast, head out to the Peak District for the first of our walks, returning mid afternoon when theSpa looking days exertions can be gently massaged away in our large therapeutic spa.  Dinner at 7.30pm and then free evening

Day 3  Again a good breakfast to set you up for your second walk either in the Peak District or Staffordshire Moorlands.  More relaxing with friends in the Spa followed by your evening meal and free time in the evening.

Day 4  Start with a hearty breakfast before your journey home.
